we would like 1. a voluntary sign-in page with a form for visitors to leave information, 2. that will
pop up a certain number of times if the visitor has never filled out the form, but 3. will not keep popping up and
annoying them if they don't want to sign in, or if they have already signed in (either during a previous visit, or
during the current visit.). I have a java script which will provide the popup page and form, and can be set to only
popup so many times in an hour. So I could use that. I can edit the page and form, edit the javascript for how
many times it pops up, and set the form to email the information to me.
The reasons I posted a project are: 1. If it's done in java, people who have java turned off in their browsers won't
see the popup. 2. I hope there is a way (presumably using cookies) to tell if the person has already filled out the form, and if he or she has, to not keeping popping up this page asking them to do so. I'd be rather annoyed if a site kept asking me for information I'd already given them.
What I really need to know is whether #2 can be done. If it can be done then can you do this within 1 hours times.
