Our existing website [login to view URL] has integrated with Web-to-print solution provided by Print UI. We like our customer to be able to have "Save for later", so they can continue their design job later.
So the workflow is:
* You call the newjob API to create a new job.
* At this point, your code could put the job ID into a job history for the user.
* You show that job in the web editor and allow the user to make changes.
* While the user is making their edits, the web editor auto-saves their changes to the job periodically.
* When the user clicks the Finished button in the web editor, all of their changes are saved to the job.
* At that point, your site can display a Save For Later button.
* Clicking on the job in the history list can then re-open the editor.
