More details in attachment but basically I've set up a user taxonomy called profession where I assign terms like (doctor, nurse, etc) to users.

When a user logs in I was to be able to check if user has a certain taxonomy term assigned to them to display certain content.

If user_taxonomy_term = doctor echo "you are a doctor"
