Basically need an educational wordpress theme for a "distributed home school" the following details have been requested:
Within this main website, we want families to be able to login to a private 'family page' (password protected)
On the family page, there could be tabs (or sub pages)
1. One tab entitled “STUDENTS"
Then a sub tab for each child with:
Name, DOB, Grade Level, Teacher’s Names and Course Listings
2. Lesson Plans Tab: (this could be either embedded or a pdf link to the student’s assignments. I think ideally, it would be nice to have them embedded.)
*I would need to control which family has access to which set of lesson plans to protect copyright laws.
4. Documents Tab: With links to important school documents: (pdf. or google docs)
Ex: School handbook, statement of fidelity, medical release forms, personnel contracts, annual budget, school calendar, etc.\
If the student demagraphics in line 1 can be modified in a spreadsheet, or database of some kind that would be ideal, I wouldn't want to be editing each page with changes for that info...
