Add Advanced Google Analytics Conversion Tracking to My Wordpress Site

My website is using wordpress and uses the plugin Easy Digital Downloads to sell downloads and physical products on my site. We want to set up conversion tracking in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Bing, and make it very easy for us to add other conversion codes in the future such as facebook ads, other advertising codes, etc. There are a few plugins that are supposed to help you do this but they don't appear to be working properly. We need someone to figure out why it's not working properly and make any edits or changes to make it all work. Also some simple training on google analytics will be needed.
The most important thing is that all sales are tracked. If you can make it where the actual dollar amount is also tracked that would be preferred. The plugin Easy Digital Downloads is supposed to easily use Ecommerce Tracking but like I said it's not working. We would be ok if conversions were tracked without dollar amounts but it could still require using the advanced analytics, etc.
The project will be completed when all conversion tracking is verified to be working. We will test it. Also when google analytics is properly tracking conversions. Also when we understand a very easy way to add future tracking codes. Maybe you could install something in our google dashboard or have us add the code to one particular page? We tried adding to the success page but it did not work either.....
