I need to create an android application for testing a GPS hardware for tractor navigation.
In first phase the app should only do the following:
1. Ask for the width of the implement/tool in meters which the tractor is pooling.
2. Load a google map according to the smartphone GPS
3. As the tractor/GPS starts to move the app should colour the area with a width of the implement/tools. As the tractor gets back to the area where it has already been the overlay should be coloured with another colour.
As this is only the test app later on the the GPS coordinates will not come from an internal GPS but from external with some more calculation but I just need to get the feel for the cooperation and later on I will need also this part with a proper UX.
Please provide the estimated hours for programming and the hourly rate.
