A simple job, but my efforts have failed and code snippets I am finding don't work. :(
I need a php function that will strip BB code from forum messages. However (and this is important!), there are two classes of BB code that need be handled differently.
One class should remove only the BB code tag, preserving the enclosed content. The second class should remove the BB code tag AND the enclosed content.
These tags may appear at anywhere in the data, from character 0 on.
I have attached a text document with some examples.
About the project: all I need is a php function, no formatting or anything else. Just a function. And please, do not send the finished product to my inbox before you are hired. It puts me in awkward position and I will ignore all such messages.
