Hi.
I am a small time entrepreneur in South Africa. One of my ideas is an online platform for filmmakers in South Africa. The website is what I need help with.
I already have the website designed and kind of running, but there are some areas which I am still uncertain about. This is a project close to my heart and I do not necessarily wish to discuss its details online. But I will use broad descriptions and hopefully that would help explain what I need.
It is video competition website. So basically I need a way to embed the YouTube files onto the website automatically or what ever works best, as well as be able to receive entry fees when this is happening.
Some advice on how to do this would be amazing. Of course I do not want entrants to pay upfront before uploading their videos, yet I would like to have an estimate of how many people will be entering the competition before hand. So they would have to register and with that receive a code of some sort that would enable them to embed their videos from YouTube onto the website. This of course also has many challenges as the website may become extremely overloaded (not sure what the correct terminology is here) when all entries start pouring in.
I would like it to be completed as soon as possible. But then I also would need some continuous support when the competition starts running.
