Hi.
One year ago, I began the translation of a book from English to Spanish. I asked permission to the publisher to undertake this project and he answered me that, as far as he knew, the text wasn´t under copyright any longer and that, therefore, I could do it.
In any case, I would like to find a person with expertise on Intellectual property, so that he/she can help me to get the exact information regarding the copyright of this book and a legal certificate from the oficial Institution responsible from this area, so that I could publish the book in Spanish by complying any legal requirements.
It was published and copyrighted in USA in 1945, but I am not sure if the copyright has been formally renewed.
If someone thinks that he/she could fit the profile, I´ll let know him/her additional details.
