We need an internet Marketing specialist

We are a small manufacturer of tools designed for use in confined areas. We have had the website [login to view URL] (formerly [login to view URL]) for many years. However, we have never advertised or promoted the website as our primary business targets industrial rather than consumer grade products like the kit shown on the website.

However, we recognize that the consumer market offers substantial opportunity. The kit was a QVC “Best Product” and sold well with live TV sales demonstrations for some 5 years. But absent in-store demonstrations, retail advertising, and our unwillingness to lower cost through manufacture in China, retail sales proved disappointing. As such, we have largely ignored retail consumer marketing.

But we are looking at consumer sales again as industrial sales have been hit hard by the pandemic. Moreover, internet marketing provides good product demonstration capability with enhanced ability to target specific customers. Our unused website needs professional review with assessment relative to the following and internet marketing beyond just the website.

1. Review of our website with sales improvement suggestions/implementation. Of note, with respect to the featured kit, we want to emphasize sale of the kit as a gift item. Significant QVC sales were made to women who bought the kit as a gift for men that any tool user would love for its wide range of applications.

2. Without any promotion we have had reasonable sales of the kit on Amazon. Since we are the manufacturer and Tight Fit Tools is our registered trademark, our products on Amazon are “branded” and allow us to have an Amazon Store. We seek experience in making quality Amazon Stores and promotional Amazon advertising? Initially, our intent would be to focus on the kit as a Christmas gift. Then, we will expand our Amazon product offerings going forward.

3. With a quality store, we would seek to drive targeted traffic to the store through PPC advertising and through social media promotion, etc. And, Amazon offers opportunity for global marketing.

4. In addition to Amazon there are other online “stores” such as Shopify that offer opportunity for us to increase exposure of the kit and ultimately our product line with sale delivery by them, us or from Amazon consigned inventory.

5. We have little internet sales experience and need talented creative marketing assistance in general and specifically with Ad design, landing pages, etc.

6. We would also seek recommendation on a best website hosting company.
