Plugin for traffic saving

I am the owner or a website www.efneo.com. Few years ago we have bee featured at [login to view URL] and obviously we experienced a wave of interest. There were tens of thousands of visits during a day or two, but website server freaked out and we did not serve most of this traffic.

Today, I would like to avoid this kind of a scenario, so I tried to find a Wordpress plugin, which allows to redirect such a wave of traffic to some external server, having a mini-website with only basic information. This mini-website would have few photos, some text and a youtube video, as well as an email form, for those, who want to visit the main website, when it is already up and normally working, with full functionality. Also, this mini-website would contain a link "Buy now!" which would lead to [login to view URL], which would be ok, as this would be surely only 1% of this traffic wave.

Mini-website would explain "We experienced a huge wave of interest, so our main website server was not able to work. Please, see basic info on our product below and leave your email, to be notified when standard website works again in a few days time".

Idea is to serve a very simple mini-website, with main content coming from servers of Youtube, Google Surveys, Pinterest, Twitter or Facebook. This plugin would be handy for my [login to view URL], but also potentially a paid plugin in Wordpress gallery. It could also display ads. I have a preference to work with those, who would like to develop this plugin further and share income, fifty-fifty, or even take majority.
