My name is Keith Ebling and I'm a freelance contractor. Having almost 16 years experience with mechanical, casting, machining and tool design, in a wide variety of applications, I feel I would be a great fit for this project. My main expertise is converting 2D CAD/hand drawings and renderings into production-ready 3D models. If you have a sketch I can make into a working 3D model or assembly!
All 3D models will be created in Pro/Wildfire (now called Creo) or SolidWorks when requested allowing for a wide range of other 3D formats to be exported.
** Proposed cost is per model generated **
Below is a typical design process I have followed in the past, when applicable to the project:
- Project discussion (# of pieces, CTQs, EAUs to estimate tooling life)
- Create prelim 3D models to confirm design intent (form, fit and function)
- Provide STL files during key iterations of prototypes
- Adjust 3D models as noted during design reviews
- Finalize industrial design of 3D models
- Make 3D models manufacturing ready (injection molding, parting lines, draft analysis, etc.)
- Provide STL files for final prototype assembly
- Create manufacturing drawings for quoting purposes
