Project Description:
I have a product that I need prototyped. The product was initially designed in 3D in AutoCAD. However, the manufacturer can only read/use SolidWorks files. I have tried converting the file myself to a SolidWorks format, but have been unsuccessful. I have 7 different file formats of this product; .3ds, .fbx, .mtl, .obj, .wrl, .xsi, and .dwg.
Ultimately, I need to have a usable file in SolidWorks format to give to the manufacturer for 3D printing/prototyping.
I see two scenarios with this job:
1 - You are able to successfully convert my existing file to a usable SolidWorks format for viable printing/prototyping.
2 - You can re-create my existing drawing/file in SolidWorks.
Again, the purpose of this posting is to have a viable, usable file format from which to generate my prototype.
I have an NDA, which you will be expected to sign, before any of my work is turned over to the winning contractor.
