SketchUp objects into Revit

We have software that identifies architectural objects like walls, doors, and floors within SketchUp and exports them. We need someone who is familiar with the Revit API to create a converter to take the objects output from SketchUp and insert them as appropriate objects into Revit. Revit comes with Collada input; Collada is an Open Source graphics format that SketchUp outputs. However, the Revit input brings the Collada file in as a generic "blog." We need our SketchUp objects brought in as the appropriate objects. It is likely that this project will require someone with some familiarity with Revit and its API.
