Hello ooxy! I'd love to do the translation for you and I'm sure I'll be able to handle the job without any problems. I'm a native German speaker and I'm fluent with the English language as well, thus I'll be able to provide you with a high quality translation. It's hard to estimate a fixed value of payment for 500 sentences as translators usually get paid by words and because some sentences might be longer/shorter. If we assume that the average sentence will be 4 words, as in your example, this would be 2000 words per 500 sentences. Payment for this would be 40$, however providing background to the important words will also take some time. So in general I'd say 45$ for 500 sentences would sound fair. If you're able to offer a lot of work I'm willing to give a discount though. This all depends on the amount of work, but starting with 10000 words in total I usually give a discount of 10%. hello, depending on how many words per sentence i could do 500 sentences from about 100$ up to $150 plus freelancer fees. best would be if you could please give me a word count or send the file to give you a better quote. i don't do discounts but you would get high quality so you the price will be fair. if you are interested please send me a quick message, cheers, chris

Hi! I'd be happy to help. I understand your requirements and I don't want to sound argumentative, but being a linguist by training it hurts me to hear that in the sentence 'My house is red' the pronoun 'my' is not an "important" word! -- It is, unless you could replace it with 'your',.... without causing a change of meaning. ;-) But seriously: I can offer to translate the 500 or so sentences and put the verbs and nouns, etc. in their citation form in a separate column in three days. This week I'm free from May 2nd onwards. I convert Excel files to StarOfficeCalc format and then back again to .xls. Kind regards, Alexandra
