...to showcase a new shaded walkway structure that is proposed for Toyota Product Centre in Altona Victoria, Australia. The new structure proposed for construction is a shaded architectural steel frame walkway that supports bifacial solar panels which can be visible from below. The structure will serve as a shade structure for pedestrians walking between the Product Centre building and the Toyota House building. The shade structure is specifically designed to support a bifacial solar panel array who’s solar cells are visible from the underside, providing a clear visual of the structures function both as a shaded walkway as well as a on-site renewable energy generation source.
