We have an R-code, which performs statistical evaluation of various datasets. We encountered a bug and need a quick fix for it, asap. We have datasets, of several colums, where where we occassionally exclude certain values in certain columns, e.g. by marking them with an asterix "#". The statistical tests (according to a decision tree) are performed on those colums one after the other. All descriptive statistics works fine, however the calculation of the significances delivers wrong values. I think that the code needs an additional filter applied, for the column(s) (individual datasets) where those values are filtered out or so. I am not a specialist in this. Thanks Josef

The dbftool is an executable program which is run by command line arguments. The purpose of this tool is to aggregate and patch .dbf files. I have completed the aggregation section of the program, but I need help with the patching section. The aggregation code walks through a directory tree and collects all the .dbf files mentioned in the command line argument, and combined them into a big dbf file. Then it converts to a csv file. Note: there may be some indexing errors, but it still runs. Users will then manually enter data into the csv file. The patching code takes the updated csv file and turns it back to a dbf file, which will be broken up and sent back to their own respective directory with the new updated data.
