Chakras
We live in two worlds! One is the prosaic physical world and the other, the subtle, spiritual world.
Just as our eyes, ears, mouth, limbs, heart, lungs, kidneys, skin, blood, lymph nodes are the reality of our visible body, so too are the Muladhara, Manipura, Svadishthana, Anahatta, Vishuddhi, Ajna, Sahasrara, back heart, back head, back spleen, meng main, knee, sex, hand, hip, elbow and sole chakras form the essence of our own spiritual body.
As soon as we look at a person we can not only say about his physical health, but also, definitely know his spiritual health. If one finds a person with a shine in his eyes, a brisk pace, relaxed gait, overflowing energy, benevolent smile and willingness to listen and empathize with others, one can conclude safely that his spiritual body is also healthy.
Our spiritual body encompasses more than a hundred energy centers or chakras and a large number of energy channels or meridians. If one is healthy the chakras which are akin to wheels, will be rotating on its own axis in a balanced way. And these wheels are in the shape of beautiful lotuses in different hues and colors. A problem in health – it can be physiological, emotional or psychological- results in the uneven rotation of the wheels. Many a times the channels of energy (meridians) are blocked and these also result in an unnatural tilt in the chakras.
