Ghost writing, transcribing & Editing for Startup88.com

I created [login to view URL] because I was sick of the silicon valley focus of TechCrunch, Mashable and the other American based tech media in a constant hype and reporting of silicon valley first world hipster problems. [login to view URL] is focused on Asia-Pacific based start-ups , technology and science and more importantly Entrepreneur's and their stories, prototypes and struggles. We prefer long form stories vs News Snippets, we dont want to write about Google, Pinstagram or Facetwitter we prefer leading edge science or tech or fresh startups with big ideas. We get to talk to and write about some really interesting people and some of the projects they are working are amazing. Some of them write articles for us, others we talk to at events and demo days. My only problem is I have way more interesting stories than I have time to write and edit them. I've successfully built numerous businesses in the past, [login to view URL] only launched 12 weeks ago and is already getting thousands of visitors so this is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor. I'm seeking a part time ghost writer and editor to help me with daily stories on my start-up magazine Startup88.com. You must love business, technology and be knowledgeable and hopefully involved in your local start-up community. Must have excellent English both written and spoken. Mandarin or other Asian language would be a bonus. You will have wordpress editing skills and image editing skills (not advanced, just finding, cropping and uploading). Rewrite my notes, or transcribe my voice recordings or get stories from news sources and write them how we want to see them (usually more indepth and with an angle around the entrepreneur or the cool thing about their project). One hour per day editing stories from transcriptions or phone calls or web stories hopefully will build to more hours by January, ideally you would end up writing your own stories about your countries Startup community.
