Convert Visual C++ 6 Project to Visual Studio 2008

I just did a project where the programmer did his work in Visual C++ 6, but I need to be able to compile and use the function in Visual Studio 2008. My attempt to do this failed, because I lack experience in things to watch for in attempting such conversions. The default conversion fails to compile. The project is not that complicated, and I am attaching the project here, so anyone interested in bidding can take a look first to see how much work would be involved. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The input is Visual C++ 6.0, that compiles to a standalone executable. The output should be a Visual Studio 2008 project, that compiles to a standalone executable. There is a batch file called [login to view URL] that tests the output of the program. This should behave the same with the executable generated by Visual C++ 6.0, as with the executable generated by Visual Studio 2008. It would be nice, but not mandatory, to get a list of steps it took to convert the project, in case I need to do similar conversions in the future.
