Iterate through each row in Table 1 that has not been flagged as processed, create a new record in Table 2 from the data read in Table 1 and flag that row in Table 1 as processed. Table 2 is quite different from Table 2. Need to read in the last record from Table 2 to create the new record that goes into Table 2. Can be done using any method that will work properly, including stored procedures, java, or whatever.

Hi, let me assist you in this task. I'm enough experienced in DBs and this can do this quickly. Could you please tell me a bit more about the tables structure: their columns and datatypes (schema could be the best but not sure if you have it :) If it is possible I'd like ask you to tell me what DB do you use.
