Yo!
Today is ur lucky day, I can take the connection table and split it into a thousand chunks nd detect not only legitimate connections but connections that r causing loops (hint: notepad++ and 20 mins of work) high CPU? no more, I can apply policy maps & inspections to protect networks from well known attacks :)
- Extra configuration in case you need any of them:
* I will be installing ASA and ASDM versions if you happen to have them (Over Putty or ASDM)
* I will configure NAT and PAT, publishing internal servers to the outside.
* I will configure the necessary access-lists to limit traffic to your ASA accordingly.
* How many ASA you have? if you happen to have a pair I will configure them to run in a Failover, Active/Standby or Active/Active and we can change any other configuration with zero-downtime, useful during upgrades, I believe you alreay have your border ASAs running in failover
* I will configure the necessary routing and PBR. - QOS? you got it.
* Did I miss any config? just throw it at me and I will config it based on your requirement
Lets suppose we had problems with one of the above steps, guess what? I'm a troubleshooting guru and i'm currently working at Cisco systems :) (Cisco TAC part of the firewall team) and I will assist you resolving any problems you have.
Lets say you have a dedicated Cisco engineer working with you during your journey, your Cisco ASA5505 will turn into a super-duper Cisco ASA5505.
Excited 2 begin working w/ u
