Automotive Copywriter - Learning Comms

We are looking for a freelance copywriter/training consultant to support on our Learning Comms materials for our Automotive client, on Commercial Vehicles. It mainly entails writing content for eLearning, Product Guides, video based learning and occasionally apps or microsite content to support internal comms campaigns for our client, focusing on Commercial Vehicles. We ideally want someone who is passionate about the automotive industry, who can take technical information and turn it into something everyone can understand. We are supplied source information from the client and often needs someone with the product/commercial van knowledge to interpret, draw insights and turn it into meaningful comms (e.g. supplied fuel economy figures, what do they mean?). The content created needs to be engaging and easily absorbed to retain the information. A key skill is crafting the assessment questions too, ensuring that fine balance is met between having it challenging but not impossible. A creative head to propose innovative/engaging ways of portraying the copy would be great too (desired instructional design skill). There will be an ongoing need for the right candidate as we have 2 large projects almost at copy stage and a couple more coming in soon (plus plenty more after this!), but booking would ideally be on a as required basis.
