To Whom it May Concern:
Below is a sample of what I can write for you, if chosen.I wrote this last night using the parameters you listed on Freelancer.com, and did my best to work within them.
Note:Mr. Khan has a very extensive background in the industry, therefore I tried to touch upon as many area as possible.
Please note:IN GOOD STANDING
Salman Khan, the leading man of the Bollywood film industry these days, has been receiving a lot of questions recently from popular news media in relation to his actual hieght.
One such news agency, "Lights, Camera, Bollywood!", writes: "What is the actual height of Salman Khan, the Bollywood actor?...according to certain data and information provided on the internet, as well as certain articles in magazines, Salman Khan's height is supposed to be 5 feet, 8 inches. But, there are controversies as certain tabloids are reporting this as false....."
What is all the height hoopla about? From a personal standpoint, this writer understands the mindset that motivates this type of focus, being raised in the U.S. and therefore being subjected to the fan/media feeding-frenzy that surrounds all Hollywood actors, as well as Hollywood in general.
Height has always been a concern, as it relates to Hollywood's Leading Men. The tall, rugged-looking leading man is something of a prerequisite of at least getting some type of consideration in La-La land, although not a hard-and-fast rule (some notable contemporary exceptions are: Johnny Depp [ "Pirates of the Carribean" ], Tom Cruise [ "Jack Reacher "], and Robert Downey,Jr. ["Iron Man"], all at 5 feet, 7 inches tall ).
It would seem that the trend to know things about popular personalities isn't just a Hollywood
thing. It is generally true in all cultures that we want to know details about those people we repect and admire, and Bollywood, being the type of industry that creates popular personalities for whom everyone can relate to, has created a point of focus in Mr. Khan, particularly his fans' desire to know his true height.
Salman Khan was born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan, to parents Salim and Sushila Charak, on December 27th 1965. He has starred in more than 80 films; In recent times, he headed up 5 consecutive moneymaking blockbusters-" Dabangg", "Ready", "Bodyguard", "Ek Tha Tiger", and "Dabangg II". In 2012, "Ek Tha Tiger" became the highest grossing Bollywood film for that year...The 3rd highest grossing Bollywood film of all-time.
Seems like a pretty big man to contend with,in this writer's humble opinion.
Also known as "The Sylvester Stallone of India", Mr. Khan's height is reported as 5 feet, 8 inches, through one of the various fan-club websites ("India Forums") this writer perused while writing this article. By the way, Sylvester Stallone, who is listed as Mr. Khan's favorite male actor in another of his proliferating fan-based websites, has his height listed as 5 feet, 10 inches, courtesy of Google search.
Although Mr. Khan has comparable action-film appeal ( "Jagruti", "Suryavanshi", "Veergati", and" Wanted", to name a few....) he has also shown himself to be flexible, playing roles in comedies such as "London Dreams",romances such as "Lucky-No time for Love", and family dramas such as " Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United".
Taking into consideration Mr. Khan's success in such television ventures as "Bigg Boss" and "Dance India,Dance!",they prove him to be a most versatile and well-loved personality---A true master of his craft.
I'm sure his innumerable fans would agree---These types of credentials are above any hype or other controversy relating to Salman Khan's height. In this writer's opinion, Mr. Khan stands tall, the Shining Star of Bollywood.
