Dear Sir/ Madam I have read your requirements and I feel I am competent for this job. My approach will be as follows: 1. type the data as required in an Excel sheet using appropriate column headings to ease your understanding and future analysis; 2. format the data in the form of a table so that it can be presented as a user-friendly report; 3. process data to provide meaningful information. Techniques used can include: i. use of pivot table to summarise the results (where appropriate); ii. use of formulae such as sum, average, totals, v-lookup, countif iii. use of data visualisation techniques (e.g. pivot table, bar chart or line graphs) to demonstrate the trend in data obtained; and iv. analysing and interpreting the graph to ease your understanding on the trend noted; and v. concluding on the analysis made. I hope you will give me an opportunity to work with you. I am quite accustomed to Excel as I have formed part of the data analytics team at Ernst & Young Mauritius for 12 months.
