I am skilled at book editing, but unfortunately my first time on freelancer! I have gone through the chapter and I can see that it can be made tighter and a tad bit more dramatic. I find that a long piece of fictional writing requires a certain rhythm - a combination of short, medium and long sentences - to keep the reader engaged.
