Hi, I understand what your objectives are but a few questions. I assume this is a bench Dyno as the extra loading of the communication interraces and the LCD are quite a load for a fligh ready instrument. If is to be bench used, why do you need the wireless interfaces? Other then that, its a good project and interesting. Its also within my capabilities. I have many years experience in microcontroller design and oddly some years in RC aircraft. If you have more details they would be apprciated and happy to just chat and feed a few ideas either way. My proposed circuit would be based on low power Cortex-M0 MCU. Schematic and PCB will be done in Altium Designer. PCB and connector parts will include 3D CAD data to facilitate future mechanical enclosure design, if required. The Wi-Fi and the associated software part,however, will need further clarification. Depending on the expected wireless part cost and protocol requirements, the amount of software work required can vary a lot. For example: If this is for model car, plane, etc, then Wi-FI is not really required - any simplified 2.4 GHz communication will do. Bluetooth LE also can be considered as the data rate will not be high. If this is to be used with home network and/or IoT, then full Wi-FI and TCP/IP stack and compliant protocol implementations are needed. For the software part I might need to subcontract one of my software developer friends or I can do the hardware design part for less, leaving you the option of of hiring someone else for the software part of the project. Dear. I have experience designing multiple PCB and schematics. I designed circuits with USB and Wi-Fi connection, PCBs with different types of sensors, i2C, SPI and others serials communications. I can program the firmware that you need, and the PC / celular application. But, in the last case, the PC / celular application, I can only prepare the communication, variables, size of buffer, etc. For a best quotation I need the next information: Size of PCB that you pretend. If you need all in SMD or through hole, or may be both. Type of LCD (I assume 16x2 characters) The layout that you pretend, if you have one.
