I'm looking to design a boardgame board simliar to snake and ladders, to be drawn eventually on a chalkboard. Some basic directions: + Final design will be blown up to about 1.5m - 2m tall and wide on a chalkboard (drawn by hand via projector) + Design should be monochrome, as it will end up as white on a black chalkboard. + No thin lines whch are too hard to draw + The "snakes" in the game (ones going down) should be replaced by "chasms, gaps or cliffs" + The "ladders in the game (ones going up) should be replaced by dragons + Simple design for the 2 abovementioned elements will do - do not complicate things too much, simple is good here + Please leave enough space in the game boxes as we will write in some content + Rough boardgame layout is as per the attached file. The delivered design should be in PSD format with layers properly organized for future editablility. Please leave a comment/note if further clarification is needed

Hi- Looks like a fun project and I'm very familiar with the game having played chutes and ladders here in the US which brings me to a question and since I have not received any feedback yet I could not post a question for clarification...you may want to clarify for others the type/style of dragons The sample board has a couple issues that create some design problems and perhaps some issues with play of the game. To avoid any confusion in the design I would place each element on it's own layer for future editing and include an additional dragon to bring it to 5 Basic Dragons and 10 easy to draw chasms. (More here cause they will appear dimensional but the illusion only works when in the right position.) Each element will be of different length so that there will be one for just about every scenario, each can be duplicated and re-sized. As an airbrush artist, I am also familiar with the challenges of projecting on black, the importance of clarity and line weight. I hope we can work together on this. Please check my portfolio.
