I need a team logo created that I can use as our team Brand Icon. We are 5 car semi professional drag racing team that runs IHRA & NHRA sanctioned events in the Midwest. It will be incorporated on our website [login to view URL] and m.daveelrodracing.com. It will also be used on our 5 team cars and soon to be launched on additional 2 cars. The logo or graphic needs to look like its moving, or in motion. I have seen one or two previous performance logos from peers within the drag racing community. It can't be so abstract that someone would take the initials of Team Elrod Racing and it looks like a hodge podge of TER. I want it to be identifiable motorsports or racing related. That could incorporate several iconic racing related graphics; the Christmas tree, the scoreboards, the large black rear racing tires, the dragster outline itself. Several items that are racing related but not necessarily drag racing related are the checkered flag, nascar stock car shapes, indy car shapes, sprint/dirt track shapes. We are drag racing, so its the long skinny cars with parachutes in the back. Something else synonymous with drag racing are wheel stands. For multiple photos of our team you may use any saved in our facebook page teamelrod racing. I am also including the previous referenced logos from Martino Motorsports and Norwalk Raceway park. Both have since been updated and I am not looking for a direct copycat from these previous designs. That would be tasteless on my part as I am friends with these individuals.
