I would like to make connections to a web socket. I would also like to be able to make HTTP requests and read the JSON responses. A working example of both of the above are required, so that I can begin to learn for myself. Ideally would be made with netbeans so that I can view and edit the project. . Further to this, I would like the data from streams to be stored in a local mysql database.
