I have the following in my [login to view URL]:
<Directory /var/www/vhosts/[login to view URL]>
<FilesMatch "\.(gif|jpe?g|png|css|js|swf|mov4|flv|pdf)$">
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.*) <[login to view URL]%{REQUEST_URI>}
</FilesMatch>
</Directory>
<Directory /var/www/vhosts/[login to view URL]>
<FilesMatch "\.(gif|jpe?g|png)$">
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.*) <[login to view URL]%{REQUEST_URI>}
</FilesMatch>
</Directory>
However, in the directory:
/var/www/vhosts/[login to view URL]
it's still applying all the rules to the files:
gif|jpe?g|png|css|js|swf|mov4|flv|pdf
instead of just:
gif|jpe?g|png
In other words, because /var/www/vhosts/[login to view URL] is a subdirectory of /var/www/vhosts/[login to view URL] it's applying the rules from <Directory /var/www/vhosts/[login to view URL]> when I only want it to apply the rules from <Directory /var/www/vhosts/[login to view URL]>.
How do I fix this?
Please note that I cannnot provide access to my server. This will need to be tested with your own server.
