After removing cloudlinux by these steps: [login to view URL] It doesn't boot anymore. It shows the Centos boot screen but if I press escape, it says: fatal could not load /lib/modules/2.6.32-642.6.2.el6.x86_64/[login to view URL] And something about init failure, kernel panic, See screenshot: [login to view URL] After running the uninstall script of cloudlinux, I ran this command as suggested by Cloudlinux: rpm -e --nodeps kernel-2.6.32-673.8.1.lve1.4.3.el6.x86_64 kernel-2.6.32-673.8.1.lve1.4.3.1.el6.x86_64 kernel-headers-2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.18.el6.x86_64 kernel-devel-2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.18.el6.x86_64 kernel-2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.15.el6.x86_64 kernel-devel-2.6.32-673.26.1.lve1.4.15.el6.x86_64 [login to view URL] And after that this step: To install new CentOS kernel once you deleted CloudLinux kernel, type yum install kernel If yum say that latest kernel is already installed - it\'s Ok Please check your bootloader configuration before rebooting the system I edited the grubfile to match the kernel version but still that error, not sure what's going wrong. Could use some help here. Thanks.

Hi, looking at the issue you have, it seems to me like either you deleted the kernel and didn't reinstall it properly, in which case the solution would be: 1-Boot into a Live CD of Cent OS 2-Chroot into the existing Filesystem 3-Reinstall the kernel. The option 2 is that you installed a new kernel but the system believes that it is supposed to be using a previous version, in which case, the previous kernel doesn't exist and and needs to be installed. Finally option 3, you modified grub but forgot to run the update-grub/update-grub2, depending on the grub version.

Please contact me via chat if you have any questions. Please also see my reviews for some references. Thank you.
