Convert DOS batchfiles to MS powershell to run in Server2012R2

Hi, Please share your existing batch files. Also since I do not have Windows Server 2012 at my end, I would need a test environment to test the scripts out. I am well versed with batch commands and how to write batch files as well Powershell scripts. Powershell scripts is now a modern way of doing things . It is like a way forward and Microsoft is going to integrate this in more and more products moving forward. I have more than 10 years of experience to my credit. Hi, If your scripts are working fine manually, then there is no need to convert them to PowerShell scripts. I can fix your scripts and make them work fine from the task schedule. You should not have to convert your batch files to PowerShell. Have you made sure to configure a 'Start in' directory in the scheduled task, and have you granted the account that is running the task the 'Log on as a batch job' user right? That should do it. Hope that helps. Cheers, Olli
