Backpack Wordpress Theme - Some Extra Features

I'm about 50% thorugh the way of building a Wordpress theme to replicate the behaviour of http://backpackit.com. This is based on the work I've done on a site I created a while back called tiddlybackpack [login to view URL] The wordpress theme works at the moment you can create pages, add notes and lists. All of which get saved back to the database. The theme uses jquery to handle Ajax calls and for the animated effects. I would like someone to implement some extra features. 1. File attachments - User selects file attachment from the menu at the top and a form opens up (this is already implemented) a file can then be selected and it will be attached to the post (You will need to implement this). File attachments should create an icon, which when licked allows the user to download the attachment. 2. Image attachments - Similar to above but images should upload to a thumbnail and open up to a full page when the thumbnail is clicked clicked. If possible please use the existing wordpress API for attachments and thumbnails. You only need to be compatible with the latest version of Wordpress. I've attached the theme source so far and an image of what I'd like the attachments and images to look like. I'll be using [login to view URL] so you should be comfortable with using Git. You'll be using to git to push and pull code back and to from the repository. I'll pull the code to my server from the repository for testing.
