ASP Automobile Encyclopedia Site

This bid request is for an online automobile encyclopedia written in ASP (VBScript) using SQL Server. The purpose of this site is to database information and photos about every car ever made by every car manufacturer in every country and to allow the general public to contribute information and photos to the site. The concept is pretty simple, but I have attached a document with more detail. A design is depicted in the document. This is a template that we do not own. If you want to use this design and modify it to fit the site requirements, include this in your bid so that we know that we will need to purchase the template. Otherwise, you will be responsible for creating an attractive and professional looking design for the site. We do require that you show us work done each week when RAC requires status reports to be sent. If you do a good job on the site, you can expect to get further work on this site and possibly other projects from us. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape.
