Develop a Page like Bidz.com

I own a website [login to view URL] I would like to enhance my site to have a more better looking interface in .net and ajax? application, I have the database in Ms sql, Would like to design a Single ASPX page which would take the value from my database and display it, example display must look like [login to view URL] I have the database on my Ms SQL server. ? ?
