C++ Solution Files for VS6 or 7 - pre-existing OSS project

A C++ newbie here. I found a bug in the latest version of this open source GNU software at [login to view URL] I've downloaded the source code and killed the bug but am unable to raise the attention of anyone involved with this project. I wish to test my small bug fix but lack fluency in C++. (So far I've managed to do everything I needed in VB6.) My problem with this project is that I think the source code was last built on a solaris and there are no support files for the Visual Studio IDE, and furthermore I haven't the foggiest notion of how to assemble these files so that I can build and debug my fix. I can use Visual Studio 6 Enterprise and/or Visual Studio Net 2003 to test the solution. Unfortunately the tremendous amount of learning required to fluently create the missing support files has forced me to come here offering a PayPal mediated dozen of cold ones to the first person to create the missing files for me. The specific bug in question causes the ID3 Comment fields to be overwritten by the Album description and I emailed twice the maintainers, thus: Hi, I wrote the other day about my reported bug on the sourceforge system - but I am new to there and I cannot yet program in the C++ language. I looked in the source code and think I see the problem where the ID3 comment is being overwritten by the Album Name in this line. Could someone at rent-a-coder please give me help (preferably via my 2000K VNC host: [login to view URL]) to set up the project so I can compile and test.
