I am looking for someone to develop a component so someone can put songs on the IPod MP3 player and the player will recognize the songs and play them when away from the computer so a person does not have to use MusicMatch. The methods, properties, and events are these: 1. connect player (only if it needs to show it being connected before putting songs on player) 2. playlist method (this would create a new playlist on the player) the only parameter is the name of the playlist 3. add songs to playlist method (this would copy the songs to the player and put it in a playlist) The songs can be a tab delimited as a param so it becomes an array. The playlist it would belong to is the one most recently created 4. delete playlist method (this would delete the playlist and the songs on the playlist) The parameter needed for this is the name of the playlist to delete 5. progress event (this should fire up as each song is transferred to the player) 6. completed event (this should fire up when all the songs have been added to a playlist that has been selected) 7. close method (this would close out the player and is only needed it it needs to close out safely) The purpose of this is so my music system can work with the IPod because I developed my own system for managing the music.
## Deliverables
The sample project that shows how to use the methods and events. The component can be done in C++. However, if its done in C++, then it needs to be interfaced with Visual Basic.
## Platform
Windows 2000, Windows XP
