This work is not programming related, but if you or someone you know, is skilled in AutoCad, then this may be for you. I'm bringing up the Production Planning module for SAP which will require Autocad drawings for the process order. Our Glass Shop currently has about 1,500-2,000 8.5"x11" drawings (one for each part), that specify the dimensions of the apparatus to the glass blowers. I estimate it will take someone about 1 hour to complete each drawing. They need to be produced in Autocad 14 or later, use our titleblock, and conform to some basic standards. One of our draftsman started this project a couple years ago and didn't finish it. He entered about 300 drawings in CAD before he left the company, but that initial work should help you to complete this task. Many of the components are standard and peice together to form the final assembly. Many of these standard components have already been drawn. Each drawing is dimensioned and has maybe 20 or so parts, but there are often a lot of odd curves which will slow down the data entry process. In any case, conservatively one hour. These drawings must be entered into CAD by hand!! There are raster to vector conversion applications that exist in which paper based drawings such as these can be scanned to create a vector drawing (CAD). This process often leads to thousands of tiny line segments which are impossible to manipulate and maintain. If it turns out that this methodology is necessary, then all converted elements must be traced over and then deleted, but I prefer it is not used at all. The draftsman must practice good quality work as well. No disjointed line segments. The drawing must be neat and drawn to scale, representative of the original. The bidder will have about 1 month, maybe 2, to complete this task.
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional electronic Autocad drawings. These drawings are confidential and proprietary. The bidder shall not reserve rights to them. They must be removed/destroyed from the bidder's system after project completion and transference to the owner.
## Platform
MS Windows-based AutoCad 14 or later
## Deadline information
This alots a couple months for the work, however a couple weeks will be required to assemble the drawings and ship to the bidder.
