Hi! This seems like an interesting job :) Well, one of the most common reasons is the incompatibility between the old and the new php syntax. Also, another reason usually causing problems is the change in how the new php versions return addresses by default whereas previously it was explicitly done by using the '&' operator. Now, the same & leads to errors. I can get this done today and you can award the bid to me IF I am successful. This way, you're safe from having buyer's remorse :) Have a good day!
