Android App

App for the droid phone. This app will use the droids camera to capture and save contact information by taking a picture of the individuals business card. Image to text conversion necessary with some basic steps to take after the picture is taken and of course saving this information to contacts after the process is complete. ## Deliverables application process for the users point of view: open app take a photo of a business card (to be saved in a separate folder than other pics) after photo is taken all text is then read. app cant possible know exactly what is company name, person name, phone, fax, etc, so the app must choose to match each piece of text w one of these fields. even if done intelligently this is doubtful to be correct in each field so the user now (after the photo) can use a drag and swap action to correct any mismatched fields. **First** Smith **Last** Bob **Tel** N/A **Fax** 9178415555 **Company** VSPOT If this were to happen the user could drag and switch the First and Last as well as the Tel and Fax. If everything was correct they can just press OK. once text and fields are matched an simple OK will then save this info into contacts. as well, app can work for any photo already saved on your phone. it only needs to then move that file to the separate folder as prev mentioned. Lastly, i would like this app on my phone (of course) and i would like it to be avail in the android marketplace. i have yet to decide whether or not it will be free to dL for others. i am currently leaning towards it being free or very cheap 50 / 99 cents.
