I am an exclusive MS Access and VBA developer. The only drawback of MS Access over PHP (with mysql) is that it will not be accessible over a web interface. If this is not a deal breaker, MS Access will be cheaper to create and easier to maintain. I would be willing to provide you custom sample db made to your specifications. Hi, Since you've "php" in tags for this project I think you'd be better with mysql database then with access. It's not clear do you want web or desktop app? Either way- I can create it. I can develop the database you need in MS-Access to hold the required information and provide a user interface to enter/edit/delete the information as needed. The bid I entered is a place holder. My normal rate is $40/hour. The first step would be for you to send me a detailed explanation of the manual processes the database is supposed to replace, and then as much full description of the data entities and information to track for each entity (ie. People - address, birth date, etc.). If anyone suggests they can do the project for you without the above pre-planning, chances are the database will not be what you need and/or will need many revisions to get it right.
