Develop a simple company intranet-website to navigate/manage/display documents

The project is to develop a company intranet to display a number of PDFand other pages in an imbedded window/pane. A home page (design will be supplied) will have a banner across the top plus a number of menu items down the left column, each with a series of sub-menus (and sub-sub menus) under them down to a set of documents/PDF files at the lowest level. The menu structure is a tree and the menus expand/contract to show/hide the sub-menu items. Once the document/PDF level has been navigated to, then a list of documents/PDF’s are available to be clicked on to open in the larger right hand column (pane). It is important that menu items and documents/PDFs can be easily added/deleted from the structure by the Administrator (without any particular HTML coding skills). This Intranet is essentially a company processes manual providing a way to navigate through many company procedures (the files) arranged within the folder structure to display them in the window. Another aspect of the project involves creating a simple database (~20 fields) with a data entry form and reporting on the included data. This is selected by one of the above mentioned menu items. The bids must include the word “Intranet” to show that the description has been read and understood. This must also include a brief outline as to how you would undertake the project, using what tools and also your references/examples of similar projects completed previously. Upon short listing the preferred bidders I will provide full details in order to lock in the specification and the bidder’s ability to complete the task at the quoted price.
