We have employees who enter in their expenses into excel 2003. We need these entries to be imported to a specific area of Quickbooks Pro 2004.
Possible Steps Involved (Steps should also be as automated as possible when it comes to importing):
1.) Employee enters expenses and saves in a specified format (csv, xml etc...)
2.) File is sent to office where bookkeeper imports file to quickbooks.
3.) Entries from employee are imported to specified area designated by possible script (perl, php etc...)
Employee expense entries can be customized based on Quickbooks capabilities if needed. All basic entries will be imported. For example: Date, Ref, Payee, Charge, Payment, Account and Memo. If any entries are left blank it should skip without error. Account section can be default one section that way bookkeeper only needs to assign them to correct accounts.
