We are going live by Oct 28th and have to hire by then Job Profile We are a dynamic high tech sales and marketing company based out of Dallas, TX. We are chartered to grow our partner’s leading social media organization with 800,000 members. Our commitment to them is to grow their membership base by 200,000 members in India in one calendar year. You will be responsible for growing this membership base in India. We are looking for a full time dynamic, well spoken and networked business development manager (BDM) in a major city (Bangalore, Hyderabad ,Mumbai, New Delhi or Kolkata) to grow our partner’s membership base in India. We want to hear from individuals interested in this position or companies that may want to partner us in this endeavor. Primary Responsibilities - Sign up 17,000 members a month starting November 2010, with a minimum of 200,000 annual sign ups in one calendar year. - Orchestrate a number of promotional events in India. The promotional events are typically a 1 to 2 hour event held in conjunction with Universities (business schools), trade organizations or independently held and has business speakers, food and drinks. The audience is anybody that is interested about entrepreneurship. - Find relevant sponsors and partners that can “offer deals for members of this portal”. Example, a hotel chain may offer a 20% discount to all Indian members of this portal. The portal gets a small percentage of the proceeds and the hotel has a dedicated sales channel. - Can work with minimal direction Experience Requirements: - Well networked in a major metropolitan city among the social media savvy youth - Have a minimum of two years experience in marketing or public relations - Can speak fluent English and has the ability to converse with business houses as well as college students - A go-getter who thrives for success - Access to 24 hours of high speed internet and phone (work from home position) - MBA preferred but not required. However, an undergraduate college degree in any business, science or arts field is a must.
