Add Alert To A Page on my Website

I have a website with a dating service. When someone logs in, I want them to see an Alert (as shown on vWorker so that when you dismiss the alert the page goes back up and the alert closes from right to left.) The Alert message will change every time they login. For example: If a woman logs in: Hi [name]! I hope you'll join us in the Women Only Chat Room on Friday night from 8 - 9 pm ET. Go to Home -> Chat Hi [name]! Have you "Liked" our _Facebook page_ yet?[login to view URL] (make link)
