This is difficult to describe, but I will do my best. I would like this software to be built using Visual Basic 6 if at all possible. My entire application is already in VB6 ------------------------------------------------- I need software that : Can take a WAV file that has already been recorded.. and PLAY it.. but while playing.. be able to pick any point.. and immediately begin recording at that point... In other words> Suppose I am speaking into the microphone reading a story. If I make a mistake.. I want to be able to go back about 5 or 10 seconds and play back what I have already recorded, but at a particular spot (maybe between words or at a pause in my reading) hit RECORD, and be able to continue reading as if the mistake never happened. I need some good thoughts on how to accomplish this. Budge is limited so be thoughtful when bidding.
