I have a site on a dedicated server behind a PFsense firewall. been getting attacked almost daily . tcp, udp, syn flood ddos .. started using cloudflare, but site doesnt work when its active. pfsense already routing to local ips and vms with different ports so need to add all cloudflare ips to pass the rules so site would work. small project but you must be very experienced and know what you are doing as data provider already wanting to terminate server due to the attacks that reach 700,000 pps so no room for mistake.
