Assistance with Prestashop theme

I have a prestashop site that I am happy with it had some small teaks done top navigation and formatting of the home page putting category and also subcategories. When I update to latest version I loose some of the bespoke formatting as it writes over the files. I need a programmer who understands Prestashop help update the site using one click then apply the responsive theme purchased and to ensure that the small tweaks we have done are carried over into the new theme. It is quite a simple project but will need future works. Prefer to deal direct with programmer. Sam
