Build an Online Store

Our website shopping cart software is now 15 years old and needs to be upgraded to a new system. You can see the website at [login to view URL] There are also 4 other websites using the same admin/web template. We are looking for a designer who can replicate what we already have and can also include social media such as Twitter, Facebook etc, Marketing emails, and interface with Amazon and Ebay. And to take us into the future. Must be mobile friendly! It is important that the designer understand that our website is both a cataloge AND a shopping cart. Some categories provide simple product information (phone sales) and some categories are a traditional shopping cart. Some products are only found by searching for a part number in the search box. We will self host with our longstanding ISP in Melbourne. We will use an Adelaide based payment gateway. There are three critical programming issues: ADMIN PAGES: Firstly the catalogs and products must be known by NAME and not category numbers. Clicking on a Catalog name must show sub-category name and clicking again might show all the product names in that sub-category. In other words all products and sub-categories MUST be in an easy to manipulate alphabetic tree. As there are over 90,000 products in 67 categories , we only want products to be in their categories and subcategories in the Admin section. (Specifically, we DO NOT want the methodology Magento, Big Commerce etc. use to show categories and bundle products all into one group.) WE DO HAVE SCREEN SHOTS OF OUR EXISTING CATEGORY ADMIN PANEL TO SHOW YOU. CSV IMPORTING: Secondly, the proposed system MUST have the easiest to use CSV import system. The headers on our different CSV files MUST be easily matched, with a minimum of fuss, to the import fields. Again, the methodology of Magento, Big Commerce, VPASP and others is cumbersome. Open a Category, select Import, Load the Product File, match the headers/fields and select import. Simple. SHIPPING METHODS: Thirdly, the system must allow for multiple shipping methods for any category or product within. Some categories will have ship by weight. OTHER: All buttons/pages/functions of the website need to be replicated. Enhancements and tweaks welcomed! Our software has stood the test of time for 15 years, but now has to be retired as it can not be upgraded to mobile friendly and our payment gateway service is closing down. The three category layouts were designed by us all those years ago to suit our business/products. The website may not look sexy but its super simple for our customers to use and pretty fast for such an old system. Indeed there is probably no reason why the admin pages could not be replicated to provide entirely the same feel. Can you help us? :) We can look at fixed price or per hour.
