Your completed "Project 1 - Project Proposal" is due this week. A complete description of the project can be found under Projects. Remember that to receive full credit the proposal should contain: A clearly defined introduction – Your introductory paragraph should contain a description of your major or career along with the concepts that you plan to discuss in the paper. The application of mathematical concepts - Apply at least one mathematical concept to your major/career from at least two of the following areas covered in class: algebra, geometry, statistics, probability and finances. Explain how the concept will be used in your major/career. Though not required, you are encouraged to use appropriate formulas to show example calculations. Research – Find at least one source of information that supports the elements in your project. Include complete citations for your sources in APA format. Reflection – In your concluding paragraph reflect on the necessity of mathematical knowledge in general.
